HBOL are delighted that The CountyClean Group, who recently moved into Unit 19 at Pacific House, will be hosting a free Behind The Scenes event allowing us to see the freshly designed offices, have a look inside some of their fleet of vehicles as well as share a glass of wine and enjoy some refreshments.
We will also be joined by the Worshipful Mayor of Eastbourne Councillor Pat Hearn who will be officially cutting the ribbon and welcoming us all to The CountyClean Group’s new home.
From their modest beginnings with one tanker managed by husband and wife team, Mike & Debbie Walker, The CountyClean Group has become a major provider in London and the South East with the ability to offer a fast and reactive, complete waste management solution and an unparalleled level of service that is second to none.
Mike tells his story below!
"In May 2007, my wife Debbie and I arrived at our new premises for CountyClean Environmental Services Ltd with a five year old tanker and our first job booking, so I jumped in the tanker and began our very first customer relationship. Since then we have become CountyClean Group – a multi-million pound turnover business, rapidly approaching 40 staff over two locations and a growing fleet of almost 20 commercial vehicles. Right from the very start, we have reinvested all profits back into the company as we understand that the key to being successful is not just to employ people and buy more equipment, but to make sure that we had the right people and quality equipment. As the industry is very small and quite specialist and as we work in a service industry, we are only measured on two things: cost and level of service. Getting the balance right has been critical and key to our success over the years.”
