Innovation Centre gets involved with the Active Travel Challenge

Sustrans in partnership with East Sussex County Council have now launched the Active Travel Challenge, a free web-based competition for anyone who works in East Sussex. The challenge incentivises people to walk, cycle, take public transport and car share by competing on their own or as part of a team during the month of September.

Janie from Sustrans will update us at the next Innovation Centre networking lunch on:
Wednesday 5th September 2018 at 1.00pm

The Active Travel Challenge invites people to log their daily journeys and gives them feedback on how many journeys they make, how much exercise they get and how much money they save by not travelling alone by car. Each week, we will be giving away different spot prizes. To be in with the chance of winning, you will need to log at least two journeys a week, and each week the value of the prizes increases. As well as this, there are also grand prizes to be won. Participants who log more than 20 journeys between 1st to 30th September will be entered into a random prize draw to win a £350 Eurostar voucher.

The Innovation Centre is getting involved in this free challenge, which will help employees to become more active by building exercise into their daily routine. It will also help to reduce local congestion.

Individuals who register before the 31st August, will be entered into a prize draw to win cinema, M&S, Wiggle or Cotswold Outdoor vouchers worth £25.

Please get in touch with HBOL or Sustrans for more details on the challenge, or come along to the next Innovation Centre lunch and speak to one of their friendly team about how you can get involved.

Alternatively, register now at

Please note this promotion is only available to Innovation Centre clients.

We hope you will join in and beat the competition by getting active.
